We've always struggled to get a good family photo, relying mostly on quick phone snaps and vacation selfies. Our six-year-old is not a fan of cameras, so I was worried about how our professional photo shoot would go.


Brian completely turned that around. He was so patient with our son, making him feel comfortable and never forcing a smile. He understood that we just wanted nice, natural photos, and he truly delivered. Not only do we now have beautiful family photos, but my son even said he had a good time! Brian has a gift for capturing genuine personality, and I would recommend him to any family, especially those with camera-shy kids.

One of our main concerns about photo shoots was being able to work around the young ones as they get pretty antsy after doing/being in one spot for a long period of time but his professional instructions and light-hearted jokes immediately gave our family of 13 at ease.  He captured adorable candid moments of the kiddos, being professional yet personable, and delivering high-quality, lovely photos that exceeded our expectations.

Red Autumn photography did an absolutely killer job with headshots with myself and some other small business owners. I’m a very awkward person and don’t know what to do for headshots or poses and he made it so easy, and fun! We played some awesome hype music and got headshots that I am still using today! Very thankful for the fun, and safe atmosphere he created at Cole St studios so that I could finally get some quality headshots !

Brian was such a wonderful person to work with. He is very passionate in creating an atmosphere that is comfortable yet natural. I have two boys that have the wiggles and a little one who despises getting his picture taken. I communicated to Brian that was my biggest concerns. He immediately established rapport with my two boys and reminded the grown up to just smile and allow him to capture the photos. I loved that we always communicated prior to shoots on what our goal was with what type of photos we were aiming for.
