my philosophy

My approach to photography is all about having a great time, then grabbing those moments.

 

When I photograph families, my focus is on capturing the real, lovely moments that make your family unique.


Don't worry about standing and smiling, the stress of having the right outfit, the right behavior from little ones, or anything that isn't about having a great time. The moments of a rascally kid, the shy one hiding behind mom, or brothers who want to wrestle. We can tackle things as it goes and I have ways to make sure we get our shots and still let those littles express who they are.

 

Parenthood is filled with irreplaceable moments that can slip away with time. I’m here to help you capture and keep them vivid.

Frequently asked questions

Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

Travel is included in pricing unless our consultation uncovers something. I am happy to drive to you, meet you at a fun location, or most places in western WA.

Do you travel for photoshoots outside of Washington?

YES. As the primary caregiver for my 3 kids it limits my opportunities to do these things, but I am willing to travel and shoot elopements, events, and awesome moments for people. Just requires a bit more notice.

Can I customize a photography package to fit all my needs?

OF COURSE!!! I am here for you. Need to work in some additional images? sure. I get asked often during family sessions to grab a couple frames for updating work headshots or email signatures and I am happy to help grab a couple snaps while we are there of whatever you think I can help with. It's your time, lets use it and have a blast.

How long does it take to receive the final photos?

Most families receive standard shoots within  48 hours. I do quote a bit longer when we speak because I don't control the bugs my kids bring home, I could have other projects to still clear, and family events like choir, band, sports, etc. I try to be very preset for my kids and so it could be a day or two more. Anything like a wedding or event would get a personalized quote.
